TROY, Mich. The addition of two new ABS sensors covering Mazda applications continues to expand Delphi’s all makes ABS program. Delphi has improved the OE design to prevent common sensor failures caused by internal short circuits, interrupted cables, cable short circuits, mechanical damage to the sensor wheel, soiling and increased wheel bearing free play. Delphi’s sensors contain plating to help prevent corrosion and failure. Tested to meet or exceed OE requirements, Delphi ABS sensors deliver a warning light and store a fault code when wheels lock during braking and other systems fail.
