I have been working on a 1993 Saturn LS 1.9 DOHC, and it has a DTC of 26, QDM Failure. So far we've replaced the coolant temp sensor, due to the fact that it seemed to be a little loose (the plastic was about ready to break off). And I checked for vacuum leaks, ensured the EGR valve wasn’t stuck, and replaced the map sensor. Any other suggestions or could you shed some light on the QDM and what it does exactly? On my 98 Taurus, I only get strong air thru the defrost vents. Very weak thru the floor and top ones. My mechanic says he can't figure out why. Any answer except find a different mechanic?
I consulted the saturnfans.com Web site for this one. This thread seems to be very helpful. Take a look.
