ContiTech’s
Power Transmission Group is offering a new OE-quality multi-ribbed
V-belt kit complete with the recommended dampers. The kit contains a
CONTI-V MULTIRIB belt as well as a torsional vibration damper (TVD) or
torsional vibration damper isolator (TVDi), both available for diesel
engines. ContiTech recommends that the dampers be replaced in tandem
with the belts since the components are then perfectly matched to each
other.
