FISRT OHV V8 WAS PRODUCED IN A 1917 CHEVROLET. IT WAS 288 CU IN 55HP. IT CAN BEEN SEEN AT THIS WEBSITE http://www.lidreamboats.org/files/Early_V8s_mag_format.pdf THE PARTS STORE HAD ONE OF THESE ENGINES ON DISPLAY BEFORE IT WAS BOUGHT OUT.
