I have a '93 Cavalier that I've recently done a few improvements on; namely
replacing the heater core and the fuel filter. However, my heat still isn't
working and the fuel gauge (which is off to begin with) is now fluctuating
about 1/8 of a tank while I'm driving and I seem to be using more gas than
before. Did I do something wrong or is this normal?
1. Replace the thermostat with a new one, or put it back in if you took it
out to make it run cooler.
2. Undo the hose bypass that was done when the heater core started leaking?
3. Replace the fuel pump module which includes the fuel gauge sender, after
testing and verifying a faulty signal to the instrument cluster.
