LAS VEGAS Epicor Software Corp. has announced plans to launch a cloud-based version of its AConneX Internet-based auto parts trading solution.
The new solution, Epicor AConneX CL, will facilitate adoption by thousands of additional aftermarket businesses while significantly enhancing network reliability and performance, according to the company.
AConneX is one of the aftermarket’s largest and most popular connectivity and parts buying and selling solutions, according to Epicor, and has surpassed 65,000 online buyers and sellers. The product now averages more than 4.5 million parts orders per month, representing in excess of $1 billion in annual sales.
The number of AConneX transactions has increased nearly 35 percent over 2010, according to Paul Salsgiver, executive vice president and general manager, retail software for Epicor.
